DSTC contribution to standards is an important facet of our stance on technology interoperability.

DSTC has made significant contributions to standards organisations such as the Object Management Group (OMG™), Moving Pictures Experts Group (MPEG) and the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We are also the only non-commercial contributor to the OMG™ standards.

DSTC has been one of the key members of the openEHR Foundation since its formation, and has been responsible for driving the development and testing of the openEHR specifications.
