The new memorial hall proudly provided by the community abd opened 23-04-95. A memorial to those who served.

(This plaque pays tribute to the Kombumerri, acknowledging them as the original pioneers - the first explorers and inhabitants of this land).
The Kombumerri assisted European settlers but acts of violence caused mistrust which eventually led to both groups adjusting to an uneasy co-existence.
Aborigines from this district served their country in conflict on foreign soil, fighting beside other Australians in the defence of their land.

In 2008 the society stages its 80th annual show. To celebrate this achievement and to represent all society members, this laque was unveiled by 2008 president Helen Ripper.
