About Us

We, David and Kerry, are a married couple in Brisbane.
This is our web site so we can be indulgent in the things we are interested in.
It started out as a way of getting contacts to our family history.
That led us to a research trip to the UK, where we photographed headstones in a number of cemeteries. Then we thought what if people photographed their local cemeteries and put them up on the web, so did the local one and it got a bit out of hand.
We put together some other family history resources before moving into local history as well including tracking renamed places in Queensland.
David is a C programmer and writes software as a hobby, but would like to get back into cycling.
Kerry is a retired computer science researcher and now Wikipedia contributor.
We like to travel.
