War Memorial Locations

These maps have been extracted from "Salute the Brave: a pictorial record of Queensland war memorials" USQ Press: 1995 authored by Trevor and Shirley McIvor. 27 Maker Street, Toowoomba. 4350. ISBN 0 949414 54 9. This book triggered "Operation Restoration", a $10 million project to ensure war memorials were restored and maintained. The Minister for Veterans Affairs, Con Sciacca, spoke at the launch of the book in 1994. There is now also CD-ROM with many more photos and the story of the McIvors and their projects.
