Mudgeeraba and Springbrook memorial hall. Built from locally hewn timber in 1922. Designed by Percy Henman. Built by William Brody. First trustees: W.G. Rudd, J.L.Lyndon, I.R.Andrews, G.A.Greaves, W.H.Laver. First caretaker: W.Starkey. Acclaimed as the largest hall on the south coast line. Tragically destroyed by fire 23-04-93. The new memorial hall proudly provided by the community abd opened 23-04-95. A memorial to those who served.

This is the oldest habitable dwelling in Mudgeeraba. Purchased by the Gold Coast City Council and handed back to the community in 1998.

Aborigines of the district - The Kombumerri.
(This plaque pays tribute to the Kombumerri, acknowledging them as the original pioneers - the first explorers and inhabitants of this land).
The Kombumerri assisted European settlers but acts of violence caused mistrust which eventually led to both groups adjusting to an uneasy co-existence.
Aborigines from this district served their country in conflict on foreign soil, fighting beside other Australians in the defence of their land.

Mudgeeraba show society. The first show in the area was at Nerang in 1885. The first Mudgeeraba show was in about 1926 and was a produce display and sportr day. In 2008 the society stages its 80th annual show. To celebrate this achievement and to represent all society members, this laque was unveiled by 2008 president Helen Ripper.

William and Margaret KURZ. William was the first motor mechanic in Mudgeeraba. (Garage in railway street opp village green), First Taxi service. William and Margaret are best known for starting the non-denominational sunday school. Children of the era remember fondly every saturday morning and the annual prize giving.
